Reed McClure attorneys represent retailers, owners, and managers of commercial and residential properties. We defend clients in claims ranging from basic slip-and-falls to catastrophic injuries.
- Plaintiff sued our client, a supermarket, when she was hit by a vehicle while crossing the store’s parking lot. She argued a store plant rack obscured her view and the driver’s view of her. The jury concluded the store had no fault and returned a defense verdict.
- We obtained a defense verdict for a home improvement retailer. Plaintiff claimed a traumatic brain injury when a store sign blew over onto her head. She argued the retailer failed to maintain a reasonably safe environment by placing the sign too close to the front door. The jury found the retailer was not negligent.
- After fire destroyed a 100-plus unit apartment complex, we successfully defended the owner and resolved the wrongful death, personal injury, and property injury claims.
